Aware Space is a Paediatric occupational therapy service tailored to families with children aged 0 through to 12. We work with you and your child to navigate emotional regulation with you, help you understand your child’s sensory processing and unpack challenges your child might be experiencing at home, childcare and school. We can provide assessment for fine and gross motor skill development and much more. Jenna, our lead OT, is an experienced paediatric OT who is committed to working together with families and caregivers using a relationship focussed lens. Jenna is a Mental Health Endorsed Occupational Therapist who works with children through private paying, self managed NDIS plans and Medicare rebatable CDM and mental health care plans.

The Shepherd Centre is a registered charity, founded by Dr Bruce Shepherd AM and his late wife Annette to provide a family-centred early intervention program to teach children born deaf or hearing impaired how to develop spoken language. The vast majority of children graduating from our world-leading program achieve spoken language at the same level as normal hearing children by the time they are ready for school. These outcomes have earned The Shepherd Centre an international reputation as a centre of excellence in helping children with hearing loss learn to listen and speak. We offer e-learning and teleintervention services for those who may not be able to attend in centre or who may live in remote areas.
