Since 2006 PHYZ X has brought to you a passionate, knowledgeable, caring team who’s focus has always been Creating Healthier Communities throughout the Central West. Our Compass Nambour Campus opened its doors in May 2021, providing learning and development programs for people with disabilities. What was previously our Palmwoods Campus, relocated to this new space, which is in the heart of the Nambour CBD at C-Square. The new premises opens up many additional opportunities for those attending, including a significantly larger and more functional space, new programs to be offered using the improved facilities, access to a multitude of local allied health practitioners and services, and community and public engagement opportunities within the C-Square and broader Nambour community. Compass’ social enterprise retail store, Wabi Sabi Creations, is also positioned across the courtyard at C-Square.

The NADO Penrith Central Day Program offers tailored programs for young adults and mature aged people with moderate to complex requirements relating to their individual intellectual disabilities. Our wide range of group based programs are aimed to provide new experiences, learn new skills, meet new friends, increase independence, gain community access – and overall just have a great time as a valued and active member of the community.

I am an experienced Psychologist with passionate interests including complex trauma, neurodivergence (ADHD, Autism and AuDHD), supporting grief, and self development. My counselling approach aims to promote self-awareness, self-compassion and personal well-being. The Compass Caboolture (TAFE) Campus was established in late 2018 as part of a vision to partner with TAFE Queensland in providing a genuinely integrated learning space for young adults with and without a disability. Now as a mature Campus, Compass Caboolture TAFE offers a wide range of developmental and skills-based programmes in a setting that encourages social inclusion at all levels. Compass Caboolture TAFE has also developed a very innovative approach to capacity building via a pathway of vocational and creative pursuits that see the trainees not only making a wide variety of beautiful art and craft items, but also manning a regular Market Stall in a popular Shopping hub.
