Miraa House is an exclusive, all-female establishment offering premium courses under NDIS, to ensure affordability isn’t a factor that determines a woman’s ability to access non- qualification courses and learning of lifelong skills. While Miraa House – Learning for Life provides women with intellectual disability the opportunity to learn life skills through non-qualification courses, Miraa House – Home Away from Home provides the next step in the journey. Open exclusively to Miraa House students, Home Away from Home caters for Short Term Accommodation (formerly known as Respite) and supported independent living on a 12-month, renewable basis. We extend learning beyond a standard day into a home environment students can call their own.
