About Surfers Sunrise Wheelchair Trust
Surfers Sunrise Wheelchair Trust builds and distributes wheelchairs to people with mobility needs in developing countries. Volunteers at their Arundel project shed construct rough-terrain wheelchairs from recycled bicycles and donated materials. Since 1996, they have built and distributed over 11,500 wheelchairs to 31 countries.
