Positive Powerful Parents Self Advocacy is a Self Advocacy Organisation run by and for parents with Intellectual Disability. Positive Powerful Parents Self Advocacy support the rights of Parents with Intellectual Disability. PPP aims to raise awareness of the issues and discrimination parents with intellectual disability face when they are involved with the child protection system. PPP believe that parents with intellectual disability have their own unique way of parenting and with the right supports in place, most parents should be able to keep their children at home with them. PPP believe parents with intellectual disability have the right to access the supports they need. PPP want organisations to commit to ending the discrimination
