Employ for Ability is an innovative social business focused on helping individuals and organisations understand the benefits of hiring neurodivergent people as part of their social inclusion and diversity programs. We provide autism awareness training and coaching. We also work with adults who have an autism diagnosis or identify as neurodivergent by providing training and work experience to obtain and maintain employment. We run a SLES (School Leaver Employment Support) program for young adults who have recently finished school and have an NDIS plan. We also have social groups such as Dungeons and Dragons, chess and Art that focus on skills such as problem solving and effective communication as well as developing connections.

Employment Support Providers in Australian Capital Territory — FAQs
How do I know if a provider is registered with the NDIA?
All providers listed here are NDIS-registered. Check their NDIS Provider Portal entry to confirm current registration, insurance, and audit history. This protects you and ensures your plan funding is recognised.
What should I ask an employment support provider before choosing?
Ask about their experience with your specific goals, how they support you in real workplaces, whether they offer job coaching or job search help, how often you'll meet, and what happens if goals change.
Do employment support providers operate across all Australian Capital Territory suburbs?
Not all do. We show which suburbs each provider serves. If your area isn't covered, contact them directly—some travel or may have waitlists. Our reviews note service areas clearly.
How are the reviews verified?
Our reviews come from real participants and families who use these services. We don't publish unverified claims or fake feedback. Read recent reviews to get a genuine sense of what each provider offers.
What's the difference between employment support and other disability services?
Employment support focuses specifically on helping you find, start, or keep work. It's different from general case management or therapy. Your plan may include employment support as a core or support disability-related work support.
