How do I know these speech pathologists are really accepting new participants?
Each provider confirmed their own availability through a secure link we send them — nothing here is scraped or assumed. Every entry shows when it was last confirmed, and confirmations automatically expire off this list if they aren't renewed, so you're never looking at stale information.
Can a speech pathologist pay to appear on this list?
No. The only way onto this list is confirming genuine availability. Placement can't be purchased, and telling us they're full is just as welcome — it saves families wasted calls.
What should I ask a speech pathologist before booking?
Ask how soon they can start, whether they work with your funding type (NDIA-managed, plan-managed or self-managed — shown on many entries below), whether they offer telehealth if travel is hard, and how they'll report progress against your plan goals.
