Care Alliance Allied Health & Supports is a psychologist-led, NDIS-registered provider (No. 4050102760) across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, Cessnock, Port Stephens and the Central Coast. Our multidisciplinary team includes psychologists, positive behaviour support practitioners, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, dietitians, registered nurses and support workers, so clinical oversight sits behind everyday support rather than alongside it. Services include psychology, positive behaviour support, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, dietetics, community nursing, high intensity supports (HIDPA), hospital discharge and transition, in-home support, community access, wheelchair accessible transport, Supported Independent Living (SIL), Individualised Living Options (ILO), Short Term Accommodation (STA) and respite. We are registered under Module 2a, operate a 24/7 on-call team (not an emergency service), run a fleet of thirteen wheelchair-accessible vehicles, and have Auslan-trained support workers including tactile Auslan. Supports are delivered at our Charlestown clinic, in participants' homes and in the community. NDIS (agency-, plan- and self-managed), iCare, DCJ, Medicare and private funding accepted. We offer a free, no-obligation meet-and-greet before anything is signed. We own all of our Supported Independent Living homes. They are not rented from a landlord, so they are long-term, stable homes for the people who live in them. Every one of our SIL homes has its own dedicated wheelchair-accessible van. Every client has an approved team. Our Rosters & Teams department calls you to discuss potential new team members. If you approve, the worker does a shadow shift, which we pay for, and we then ask whether you want them on your team. We only ever roster from your approved team, so you know who is turning up and they are trained in how best to support you. Your support team receives clinical guidance and training from both our registered nurses and our psychologists, so your physical and mental health benefit from great support that is backed by evidence. If you have complex care needs, one of our registered nurses comes to your free meet and greet, to plan your clinical care, your nursing oversight and any extra training your support workers will need. If you have complex mental health needs, one of our psychologists comes along. So the right clinical planning starts at your very first meeting.
