Today, we are a registered National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provider and reach all communities across the Riverina Murray region, offering local access to creative and social programs, therapies, short and long-term accomodation, community access, employment readiness and supported employment. These services fall into three main categories: Core support – help in your everyday life Capital support – for equipment and modifications to your home Capacity building support – to help you learn new skills.

The Stroke Association of Victoria is the only dedicated community-based support service for people re-entering their lives after having a stroke. We have Stroke Support Centres and Peer Stroke Support Groups across Victoria, focused on ensuring community inclusion for Stroke Survivors. Our Stroke Support Centres aim to bridge the gap from discharge to community re-engagement. Through effective connections with community, general practitioners and allied-health providers, we aim to assist each Stroke Survivor with their longer-term recovery. We do this through non-clinical, community-based support and self-led recovery including communication, mood, mobility and community engagement.
